Cleaning and disinfection solutions in the construction sector

Dust, paint splashes, or cement residue: construction sites generate a wide variety of dirt and waste. Once the construction phase is complete, all traces of dirt must be removed before the finished building is occupied. The goal is twofold: firstly, to achieve cleanliness (from an aesthetic and visual perspective); and secondly, to ensure safe access to the spaces for health and safety and liability reasons. In this regard, each trade is responsible for the area in which they have worked. However, it is also possible to contract a final cleaning of the entire construction site to an external service provider (cleaning company).

There are many types of dirt found on construction sites: adhesives and films on doors and windows, plaster residue, cement splatters, and paint and varnish splashes. These are just a few examples. There may also be a need to remove stubborn cement residue from floors and tiles. However, the most common type of dirt found on a construction site is dust. Furthermore, its variety is very broad, as construction work generates many different types of dust (mineral dust, quartz dust, wood dust, dust with microbiological risks, and fiber dust).

Because there are so many types of dirt, a wide variety of equipment is used for final cleaning after construction. Kärcher has the perfect machinery to achieve the most effective cleaning and disinfection of these types of dirt.
